Brooklyn Unpacking injection offers

A little context before a care decision.

A Brooklyn care briefing

Ask for the full cost after the opening offer

The helpful figure is the amount you would pay for the proposed care, with the extras named. Put the visit, medicine, tests and follow-up on separate lines.

Compare like prices before adding the fees

A list price, a cash offer and a payment through insurance can give different amounts for the same medicine. The price examples here were checked on September 26, 2026. [a]

  • List price: the maker’s published price, rather than your personal quote.
  • Cash offer: the terms for paying outside insurance.
  • Insured payment: the amount left to you under your own plan.

A dated cash-price example for semaglutide

This example is for semaglutide (Ozempic) injection pens—devices that hold medicine for a shot. For patients using the introductory offer, it ended after two monthly supplies. Their later cash price was $349 or $499 each month, depending on prescribed strength. Those later prices were checked on September 26, 2026. [a]

Only US residents who were adults could use that cash offer. Its terms barred claiming money back from insurance. The cost also could not count toward an insurance deductible. [a]

The deductible is the part of a bill you pay before certain plan benefits kick in. Ask for your own quote; the example is a dated price record.

  • What would the medicine cost under my proposed prescription?
  • What would I pay after any offer ends?
  • What amount would be due before I hear the clinician’s decision?

Use this list beside any quote. Ask the service to fill in what is included, what is extra and when a charge repeats.

  • Initial assessment and any later visits.
  • The medicine, delivery and any supplies.
  • Tests, including who discusses the results.
  • Any recurring membership, cancellation terms and refund terms.
  • Charges if the clinician does not prescribe a medicine.
